Example data. Everything below belongs to one person, six weeks in — not to you, and not to anyone real. The reasoning, the components and the refusals are the product exactly as it ships.
This is what it says, and why.
Six weeks of logged training, twenty weigh-ins, and sleep from a watch that was not worn every night. Here is the call Bodiivo made this morning, what it has worked out, and what it still refuses to claim.
Today’s call
Progress
Add the planned increment. Normal forward movement.
Add the load you planned.
Four of the five signals Bodiivo can read came back neutral or better, and the fifth — soreness — you reported as mild. That is the ordinary case, and the ordinary case is to do the session as written.
Learning your patterns
Bodiivo has worked out two things about you and is honest about four it hasn’t.
By phase three it will change the plan on its own, and tell you why before it does.
- — Writes your week from your goal, your equipment and your constraints.
- — Recalculates the next load from the set you just logged, mid-session.
- — Names every signal it could not read, rather than quietly working without it.
What unlocks Adapting on its own
- 20 logged sessions — metYou are at 27.
- Two settled beliefs — metVolume tolerance and session timing.
- Six weeks of weight data — metTwenty readings across six weeks.
- Rest measured at two different lengths — not yet metEvery interval so far has come in between 150 and 190 seconds. Bodiivo has the measurements and nothing to compare them against.
Why I haven’t changed anything
Things Bodiivo has noticed and deliberately not acted on. Restraint here is the point — a change made on thin evidence is worse than no change.
Whether your knee limits the squat or the hinge
You have not trained a hinge at full load since the constraint was added.
What would change it: One trap bar session at target load.
Your true weekly step baseline
Steps arrive from the phone, which you do not always carry.
What would change it: Wear the watch.
Whether rest length matters to you
Your rest is measured — 41 intervals so far — and almost all of it lands between 150 and 190 seconds. There is nothing to compare that against yet.
What would change it: Take a longer rest on one heavy day.
Whether the half marathon target is realistic
Three logged runs is not a running base.
What would help
Each of these unlocks something specific Bodiivo is currently unable to work out.
- 1Take three minutes between heavy squats, onceWould let me work out: Whether rest length changes your last-set reps. Bodiivo already measures it and needs a second length to compare.
- 2Log breakfast for two weeksWould let me work out: Whether protein timing affects how you recover.
Your own version starts today.
Bodiivo writes a programme from your goal on day one. What it will not do on day one is claim to know you — the page above took six weeks of logged sets to produce, and it will say so the whole way there.
