Terms of Service

By creating a Bodiivo account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 16 years old.

Bodiivo is operated by Isaac Mineo ("we", "us"), contactable at isaacmineo@gmail.com.

Bodiivo builds a training programme from a goal you state, observes what you actually do, and proposes changes to that programme when the evidence supports them. It estimates energy requirements and nutrition targets from information you provide.

What it is not. It is not a medical device, a medical service, or a substitute for professional advice. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Its nutrition and energy figures are estimates derived from population equations, are labelled as such in the product, and are not clinical measurements.

Physical training carries a risk of injury. You are responsible for deciding whether any prescribed session, load, or nutrition target is appropriate for you on the day, and for stopping when something hurts. Bodiivo cannot see you, cannot assess your technique, and does not know your medical history beyond what you tell it.

Consult a qualified professional before beginning a new training or nutrition programme, especially if you have an existing injury or medical condition, take medication, or are pregnant or postpartum. If you experience chest pain, breathlessness, dizziness, or faintness during exercise, stop and seek medical attention.

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information — the plan Bodiivo builds is only as good as what it was told, and an inaccurate weight or age produces an inaccurate energy estimate.

One account is for one person. Do not share it, and do not use somebody else's health data with it.

Do not attempt to access another person's data, disrupt or overload the service, reverse engineer it to extract data belonging to others, scrape it, or resell it. Do not use Bodiivo to give training or nutrition advice to third parties as though it were professional guidance.

We may suspend an account that does any of these, or that puts other users' data at risk.

Your training and health data remains yours. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is collected, how, and every use it is put to; it forms part of these terms.

You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you: to store your data, process it to produce your plan and your figures, and display it back to you. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it for data mining.

You can export or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account deletes it.

Where you connect Apple Health, Bodiivo reads only the categories you authorise and never writes to your health record. You can withdraw access at any time in the Health app. Health data obtained this way is used solely to plan and adapt your training, and never for advertising, marketing, or data mining.

Bodiivo is provided as-is and as-available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and features may change, be added, or be withdrawn. Where a change materially reduces what the service does, we will say so in the app.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, nor for injury arising from training you chose to perform, nor for decisions you make on the basis of an estimate the product labelled as an estimate.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.

You can stop using Bodiivo and delete your account at any time. We may close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless doing so would compromise somebody's security.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here removes a consumer protection you have where you live.

If these terms change materially, the date above changes and you will be told in the app before the change takes effect.
